The easiest way to get to Bohol from Manila is by flying into Bohol-Panglao Airport in Tagbilaran City. AirAsia, Cebu Pacific and Philippines Airlines all fly this route and offer very competitive prices. The flight time is between 1hr 20min – 1hr 30mins.

How to get from Tagbilaran City to Alona Beach, Panglao Island

The most popular traveller destination on Bohol is Alona Beach, situated on the tiny island of Panglao, 20km south of Tagbilaran City and connected by a road bridge.

There are two main options for getting to Alona Beach. You can pick up a tricycle from the ferry terminal or airport which will take you there for 200 – 300 PHP. Alternatively you can travel there by minivan if you’re in a bigger group (also waiting for you at the ferry terminal and airport) which costs between 500 – 600 PHP per trip. It’s also possible to join up with other people and share a van to split the cost.
